Hello, I am interested in a property in Kentucky. I am currently renting it and the landlord claims the road near the home is being expanded. He claims that the negotiations for this are already done. When the road expanding process begins I am to be given notice and required to leave. No date has been set yet for this to begin.
I have two questions.
Does this match with the normal process for eminent domain? Can a landlord rent out properties in this situation?
I am considering buying the property. Is it possible for the eminent domain agreement to be sold along with the property?
