This weekend my apartment was shown on two occasions so far (mid-day) without prior notice. I've been cleaning and packing so my apartment is not presentable.
However, my lease states that I need at least 48 hours written notice prior to showing my apartment. I understand that on these two occasions I let them in (so I'm not sure if 48 hours still counts?). I understand they need to get someone to rent this apartment but it is kind of unnerving for them to come without notice.
A week ago they gave me written notice (2 days prior) and stated that they can enter my apartment from possibly 8am – 8pm on a Saturday – didn't really give my a specific time block of even 2-3 hours.
This is my first time renting and I'm very confused as to how this process works. I guess I just need some advice on how to handle this situation. Thank you!
