Went into contract on a home with a seven day appraisal contingency. We are on day five and the broker/bank has yet to schedule an appraisal. The broker claims that no appraiser has picked up the job yet but we're reaching the end of the contingency without the ability to confidently remove it.
What are our options now? If we don't sign off on the contingency does it still continue? We also have a twelve day loan contingency but at this rate I'm not sure the appraisal will be done in time for that either.
