Has anyone ever switched closing attorneys partway through a transaction (purchase). I'm thinking about doing so but am unsure of the ramifications, specifically the charges, of doing so. I'm assuming any charges would depend on how far along in the process the attorneys are and what charges they have incurred.
For what it's worth, I want to do this because of poor planning on my part and not because the attorney did anything wrong.
If anyone has any experiences or feedback with this I would love to hear about it. Thanks!
