New LA Hillside Construction, stair access only


I bought a great hillside property a few years ago in Los Angeles. The property has an amazing view on the top of it's slope which is where I plan to build but this would only leave stairs (70 to be exact) as the only viable way of access. What I would like to know is since the property is in Silver Lake (a very pricey and trendy neighborhood) will this affect the homes value much once constructed?
